What is involved in getting a motor loan with BEAT?

At BEAT we want to make it as simple as possible for you to get the best loan to suit your circumstances.

How it’s done : 4 easy steps:

Step 1: Are you thinking of buying a new or used car? If the answer is YES, then, contact us by calling 03 8635 8600, visit your local BEAT representative or fill out the contact form opposite.

Step 2: A BEAT representative will assess your situation within minutes. If you qualify for one of our competitive motor loans, you will have the option to complete an application over the phone, visit one of our offices or arrange a time for a BEAT representative to visit you.

Step 3: A BEAT representative will verify that all the loan and vehicle documentation is complete and correct.

Step 4: Congratulations! You now have your car loan.

How do you calculate the vehicle value?

Glass' Guide is used to value vehicles. Retail Value is applied to used vehicles and the Recommended Retail Price for new vehicles.

Who can apply for a BEAT Motor loan?

How long does it take to get my motor loan approved?

BEAT can generally provide a formal approval on the spot once you have completed your application and provided the details we need to assess your loan.

Can I purchase a car through private sale?

When can I pick up my new car?

Once your loan is approved and we have received and verified your signed documentation, we will pay the car dealer (or vendor if private sale). BEAT will let you know and you can pick up your new car!

Can I make extra repayments?

Yes. You are able to make additional repayments on your car loan, however, if you pay out your loan before the loan term expires you may be required to pay early termination fees.

What happens if I miss a payment?

If you are having trouble making your repayments it is important that you call us as soon as possible on 03 8635 8600 to discuss your situation.

Can I stop / defer payments?

This is assessed on a case by case basis. We need at least 24 hours' notice to stop or change a payment.

Can I access my account online?

Yes. You can register for BEAT Online by calling Customer Service on 03 8635 8600, and selecting Option 2. Once you are registered, you will be provided with an account number and a temporary PIN.
